- In InDesign, select Imposer Pro from the File Menu.

- From the "Style" pop-up menu, choose "Add."

- Type "Prepress_1_8_page" in the "Name:" field of the Add Style dialog box.
- Click "OK" to close the Add Style dialog box.

- If necessary, choose "Image_1_8_page" from the "Style:" pop-up menu.
- If necessary, click "Layout" in the list on the left side of the dialog box.
- From the "Binding:" pop-up menu, choose "Saddle Stitch."
- Set Signature pop-up menu to "4-Up
- From the "Type:" pop-up menu, choose "Standard."
- In the "Bleed:" field, type 1/8" (Imposer Pro converts the measurement to 9 pt).
- Complete the "Margins:" fields as follows: Top: 1"; Left: 0.25"; Bottom: 1"; Right: 0.25".
- Set the Horizontal Gaps to 0.5" (36 pt).
- Click the "(#)" tool, then click the bottom right page on the left-hand signature to properly position page 1.

- Click "Printing" in the list on the left side of the dialog box.
- Select "All" in the "Flats" section.
- Click the check box to the left of "Printer's Marks," then deselect "Color Bars."
- From the "Style:: pop-up menu, choose "Update" to save your changes.

- Click "Preview" in the list on the left side of the dialog box.
- Examine the sequence of your pages on Flat 1 of 2 as imposed using your specifications.
- Examine the Printer's marks as specified.
- Use the scroll bar to move to Flat 2 of 2 and examine it.

- Check the box to the left of "Create New Document."
- Click "OK."
- Imposer Pro creates a new InDesign document that contains flats that are 11 X 18 1/2", the size of ABDick 360 plates. The pages are laid-out in the correct order so that they will appear in the proper sequence after the signature is folded.

- In InDesign, examine Page 1, which is actually Flat One.
|
 |
- In InDesign, use the scroll bar to move Flat Two onto the screen.
- Examine its layout.
- Save imposed signatures as "YourName_8page_Imp.indd
